The road so far.

My chapters, from university to the work I do today.

Swappie

Software engineer

Tallinn, Estonia

On the Factory team, I work directly with operations on the systems that move devices through the factory, from operator tools to the services behind its automation lines.

  • Python
  • React
  • Kubernetes
  • Datadog

Factory systems

Worked on Python services that track devices through diagnostics and repair and coordinate factory robots, plus React tools used by operators.

AI grading

Helped bring image-based device grading into factory workflows, setting up Linux GPU machines and making inference more resilient through monitoring and recovery.

Factory tools

Built microcontroller-based MacBook setup automation, a USB serial-number scanner and label-printing software for factory workstations.

Codeborne

Software developer

Tallinn, Estonia

Built client products in energy, finance and education across Kotlin backends and Svelte frontends. Clean code, focused tests and pair programming were part of the daily work.

  • Java & Kotlin
  • Postgres
  • Svelte
  • Jenkins

Spotty

I built customer onboarding, contract and billing flows, plus parts of the grid-operator integration for an Austrian energy provider. I also worked on smart EV charging and built its Android and iOS wrappers.

Tenor

I built financing flows for partner merchants, from e-shop checkout and offers to contracts, payments and accounting reports. I also worked on loan pricing and repayment schedules.

Ettevõtluskeskus LXP

I built browser automation that kept training listings and registrations in sync with Estonia’s employment service, and worked on enrolment, attendance, certificates and trainer workflows.

Coop Pank

I upgraded a bank integration from EBICS 2 to 3, working through changes in how payment files are exchanged while keeping the existing flow running.

Wine Experience Club

I helped build a service that lets winery visitors save the wines they tasted and order them after the visit.

Grenpay

I worked on a service that lets customers offset the carbon footprint of purchases and see which climate projects their contributions support.

Luminor Pension

I worked on a pension planner that uses existing savings to show people what retirement income might look like.

Tallinn University

BSc, Computer Science

Tallinn, Estonia

Studied computer science while starting my career in software engineering.

WebAssembly thesis

Built and ran five algorithm benchmarks across JavaScript, Rust, C++, AssemblyScript and C# in desktop and Android browsers. The results showed where WebAssembly delivers real speedups, and where JavaScript holds its own.

Selected projects.

A couple of things worth exploring.

01 / SELECTED WORKPersonal project

ampsu

I build and run Ampsu, a food and nutrition app with European barcode data, photo meal estimates and calorie targets that adapt to weight trends. I own the Kotlin backend, Svelte frontend and infrastructure.

Translate tool

I built a free alternative to Phrase for translators working with JSON files. It catches missing keys and placeholders, previews formatting, and sends edits back to GitHub or Bitbucket as commits or pull requests.

Beyond the commit history.

I like understanding how things work all the way down.

That curiosity takes me from product code into Linux, servers and self-hosting. I daily-drive Linux, and Kotlin is still my favourite language.

At work, I’ve built across backend, frontend and infrastructure. Outside it, I keep making things of my own.
